This role requires a commitment to developing and implementing relevant hands-on lessons for students of varying ages and grades. As well as being the lead person for our unique Fridays. The instructional aid will collaborate with the teachers, parents, volunteers, committees, and local businesses to enhance the educational experience of the students.
Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration
Mature Christian and Biblically knowledgeable
Communicate with a Christian-based lens
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Innovative & Adaptable
Proficiency in classroom management techniques to maintain a productive learning atmosphere
Strong organizational skills
Patience and empathy when working with students of varying abilities and backgrounds
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated
A vulnerable sector check, police check as well as completing Plan to Protect training is mandatory
Recent Teaching, Educational Support Worker, Educational Assistant, Early Childhood Education, or other Instructional experience in a classroom setting is an asset.
